The bell was made in the 1800's by O.S. Bell Company, Hillsboro, Ohio, and was acquired by Herbert and Ruth Hahn some time after the original school building closed in 1936. The Goodins purchased it at the Hahn estate sale.

The bell was powder coated the school color blue by Chris Russell, Extreme Body and Paint. The bell is still in working order and can be rung.

The top electronic portion of the marquee was donated by The Community Bank of Russellville, GHB Builders and Beverly Meyer.
