Rohrbach receives Distinguished Service Citation at the Missouri FFA Convention

Dr. Norman Rohrbach, California, was recognized for his service to FFA with a Distinguished Service Citation at the 85th Missouri FFA Convention.

Rohrbach has served education and young people for more than 37 years. From 1973 to 1979, he was an agricultural educator in California, Mo. Then, he served as the University of Missouri adult agricultural education farm business management analysis program coordinator, a Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education district supervisor for agricultural education, and the executive secretary for the Missouri Young Farmers and Young Farm Wives Association. In 1994, he returned to California to serve as an administrator until 2003, when he returned as coordinator of the MU adult agricultural education farm business management analysis program, which he managed until his retirement in 2012.

Along with his dedication to adult education, Rohrbach has served the Missouri FFA Association as the coordinator of the state parliamentary procedure and knowledge career development events and has supported other agricultural education projects throughout his career.

Rohrbach and his wife, Joyce, are members of the United Church of Christ in California. Rohrbach volunteers his time at the local Kiwanis club and the local community band.
