RUSSELLVILLE - Elizabeth Wyss placed fifth in the prepared public speaking career development event at the 85th Missouri FFA Convention.
A member of the Cole County R-I High School chapter, Wyss competed with 16 students in division two.
Prepared public speakers deliver a three to four minute agriculture-related speech to a panel of judges, who follow up with three minutes of questions.
