The California Middle School girls basketball teams hosted Versailles Nov. 25, where the seventh grade Lady Pintos captured a 59-4 win.

Gracie George and Megan Bailey led California with 12 points each. Kaitlyn Turner scored 10 10, while Grace Henley added eight, and Megan Witt six. Jackie Hibdon chipped in with five points.

The CMS Lady Pintos traveled to Eldon Nov. 26, where the seventh grade captured yet another win, 43-5.

George led California with 15 points, followed by Quinn Albertson with nine. Bailey added seven points, while Witt and Turner each scored four.

"Overall, I'm really proud of how the girls are playing together and working hard," California Coach Bryan Lawson said. "We're rebounding well and making our free throws, something we will need to do well in our upcoming games against Blair Oaks and Southern Boone in order to come away with wins."

The Lady Pintos will play Southern Boone at Ashland Thursday, beginning with the seventh grade game at 4:30 p.m., and the eighth grade game to follow.
