Gertie Leonard was treated to a "girls afternoon out" with her daughters to celebrate her 97th birthday.
Get well wishes go to John Bestgen who was injured in a construction accident in Fulton and Teresa Kirchoff who is battling an infection. Also to Jim Gregory who was injured in a fire early Thanksgiving morning and is in the burn unit at the University of Missouri.
Gary and Amanda Reichel spent the Thanksgiving holidays with her family in Eldon.
Russell and Donna Milligan spent the Thanksgiving holidays visiting Drew, Kristin and Dylan Dickerson in Weiser, Idaho. They attended Dylan's baptism Wednesday evening and celebrated his first birthday Saturday. They returned to Missouri Monday.
Congratulations to Jeff and Michelle Hirschvogel and family on the birth of Josephine Rae Nov. 26.
Kent, Kent Jr. and Kyle Riley and John and Gary Reichel worked on moving hay Saturday. It sure is nice to have neighbors working together.
Cole Schlup was a guest of Kory Stephens spending Saturday night in Kansas City. Sunday, they attended the Chiefs/Broncos game.
The community building is a busy place for family celebrations. The Jerry Vanderpool family used it Saturday and Sunday the Marcia Barlow family met there. The Peggy Moore family gathered there Monday evening.
