— Jo Winkler and her daughter Julie Bolinger and staff dressed as elves hosted a Christmas open house in conjunction with Christmas California Style Friday and Saturday in California.

The store was full of shoppers who were treated to cookies, muffins, candy, hot cocoa with whipped cream and other delicious treats.

The back room of the store was ultimately turned into Santa's Workshop, where children could make ornaments and shoppers were treated to additional vendor's merchandise.

Winding Road Gifts, located at 324 S. Oak Street, has a large variety of baskets, homemade gift items and antiques.

If you have someone hard to buy for on your Christmas list, go by and visit Bolinger. She will be happy to assist you with your Christmas shopping.

Winding Roads is open Thursday and Friday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
