Valentine's Day provided a venue for a fundraiser for the Finke Theatre by "Friends of the Finke." The "Dinner With Your Darling" event Saturday, Feb. 9, began about 5 p.m. with a social time with beverages. About an hour later, the diners entered the room set up with tables for eight and each attendee located their designated place.
The dinner of brisket and chicken breast with blackberry sauce was catered by Burl Lutz. Entertainment was provided by Phil Lewis, piano, and Jacob Hampton, sax, playing Big Band selections including "Misty," Cole Porter's "Night and Day," "As Time Goes By," and "Tea for Two."
The event was hosted at the facility of Windmill Ridge Funeral Services
