Moniteau County officials sworn in

In a special event at the Moniteau County Courthouse on Thursday, Dec. 27, county officals who were elected in November were sworn in for four-year terms.
All sworn in by Moniteau County Clerk Anita Groepper were incumbents returning to office for another term. Sworn in were First District Commissioner Tony Barry, Second District Commissioner Kim Roll, Sheriff Jeptha "J" Gump, Coroner Loyd Fulks and Public Administrator Cher Caudel.
Melissa Hentges, seeking the open office of County Assessor, was also elected in November. Due to the work operation cycle of the Assessor's office, she will not begin her duties until September 1. She will be sworn into office in August.
