Jamestown's 2013 Homecoming, themed "Super Heroes," was held Friday night in the school gymnasium, where both the girls' and boys' basketball teams defeated Calvary Lutheran, and Homecoming royalty was crowned during the coronation.
The 2012 king and queen, Chad Cook and Morgan Imhoff, crowned senior Kellan Flippin and junior Kellie Branham the 2013 king and queen, while 2012 prince and princess, Trevor Barbour and Alli Muri, crowned the 2013 prince and princess Stephen LaFramboise and Jordan Oerly, both freshmen.
Other candidates were: junior Alden Rohrbach, sophomores Andrew Couch and Dezaree Curtis, eighth graders Austin Maslen and Shelby Stone, and seventh graders Ben Imhoff and Sierra Cooper. Escorts were first graders Luke Baepler, Connor Gorman, Patience Moad and Kinleagh Monroe.
Prior to the coronation, the Lady Eagles defeated Calvary Lutheran 66-44, and the Eagles won as well, 41-24.
The Jamestown Sapphires Dance Squad presented a dance routine, in which they performed with members of the Jamestown Eagles basketball team.
The Homecoming dance followed the coronation for students in grades 7-12, their guests and alumni.
