Bolivar led 12-11 after the first quarter, 22-17 at the half, and 33-26 after three quarters.
"This was a very poor ball game by us tonight," California Coach Bobby Sangster said. "Lucky for us we've got a week to work on things. We'll either learn from it or it's going to be ugly again. Bolivar did a whale of a job tonight. Anytime we made the smallest mistake, Bolivar made a play."
California (15-4) was led by Deeken with 11 points, followed by Kamryn Koetting with 10.
Bolivar (12-5) was led by Peyton Peavey with 14 points.
California’s JV also lost to the Lady Liberators, 36-19.
Previously, California hosted Boonville Jan. 22, where the varsity defeated the Lady Pirates 54-40.

"The girls did a great job of flipping the switch at halftime," Sangster said. "There was a little distraction because a lot of our girls are very close friends with the Boonville girls. So we had a nice talk at halftime and after that, the girls understood we're here to play a game and they came out and got the job done."
Deeken and Kelsey Roush finished the night with double-doubles to lead the Lady Pintos; Deeken with 24 points and 11 rebounds, and Roush with 13 points and 12 rebounds. Koetting chipped in with seven points.
Boonville (6-10) was led by Morgan Edwards with 14 points.
