Cub Scouts from Pack 120 in California attended summer camp July 16-18 at Lake of the Ozarks Scout Reservation.

A total of seven scouts and three leaders enjoyed activities like camping in the great outdoors, swimming, boating, shooting BB guns, archery, playing games, hiking and fishing. They also learned songs at the camp fire and enjoyed the overall pirate theme of activities. With extreme heat, the scouts also learned to stay hydrated.

Cub Scouts is a program uniquely designed to meet the needs of young boys and their parents. Through interaction between parents, leaders and friends boys learn citizenship, compassion and courage while enjoying fun and challenging activities that promote character development and physical fitness.

Any boy entering first-fifth grades is invited to join. Registration for the 2013-2014 year will be held after the start of the regular school year. Information regarding group registration night will be sent home with students. Financial assistance is available.
