The California High School Lady Pinto Hoops Association hosted its 10th annual golf tournament fundraiser July 19 at the California Country Club, where a total of 13 teams of three participated.

The event consisted of two flights: the Championship Flight and the A Flight.

In the Championship Flight, the first place winners were Bubby Oliver, Freda Oliver and Grant Oliver; and tied for second place were the team of Bryan Koetting, Blake Koetting and Tom Volkart, and the team of Ken Tuttle, Brent Tuttle and Grant Burger.

In the A Flight, tied for first place were the team of Rodney Henley, Jim Deeken and Mike Lawson, and the team of Robb Hartman, Ron Ash and Andrew Kiesling; and third place went to Rex Hill, Phil Butts and Woody.

Tanner Roberts won the Longest Drive in the women's division, while Micky Sommerer won in the men's division.

Bryan Koetting won the Closest to the Pin contest.

The Lady Pinto Hoops Association appreciates the area businesses that sponsored holes at the tournament, which contributed to the success of the event.
