Remembering Dad at the Library

Are you out of ideas for gifting Dad on Father's Day? The gift of reading may be the perfect gift for a father who protests that he does not need anything. A membership to the Moniteau County Wood Place Public Library is a thoughtful gift that Dad can use throughout the year. It's a bargain, too. If Dad resides within the city limits of California, his card is free because he pays county library taxes. If he resides outside the city limits, his whole household can have a library membership for $30 per year.

Library memberships include checking out books, magazines, DVDs and audio books, as well as use of the library and access to computers.

Is Dad already a library patron? You might also consider a donation to the library in honor of Dad. The library welcomes gifts of any size to help meet the needs of serving the people of Moniteau  County. Larger donations are entered onto the Giving Tree that is displayed upon entrance of the library. A $100 or more gift earns a bronze leaf; $500 or more earns a silver leaf; and a donation of $1000 or more earns a gold leaf. All gifts to the library are tax deductible.
