Wednesday, June 19, California firefighters, first responders, city workers and all emergency response teams were called to the Village Green Shopping Center.
The first call came from Burgher Haus which indicated smoke in the back room. Before the firefighters could deploy another call came from Pizza Hut stating the same problem. Shortly after 1 p.m. several businesses including the California License Bureau were calling in potential electrical problems.
City workers worked on the transformers feeding power to the shopping center while fire fighters worked at Pizza Hut to remove the power line from the roof.
Pizza Hut, Burgher Haus, the California License Bureau, Lutz & Stenquist Dental Group, Califonria Chiropractic and Blankenship Insurance at shopping center are closed until power can be restored.
