Felony charges have been filed against William Scott Drake, 50, California, in connection with incidents alleged to have occurred on High Street and near Highway 87 north of California.
According to court documents, a Class B Felony Burglary charge was filed as a result of an incident in which the defendant is alleged to have entered unlawfully a residence on High Street in California, which was occupied by another.
A charge of Class D Felony Resisting/Interfering with Arrest for a Felony was filed as a result of the defendant allegedly leaving the scene when a police officer responded to a call from the High Street resident. The defendant is alleged to have continued to drive away with the officer in pursuit with lights and siren, gone into a residence near Highway 87 and shut the door. The officer allegedly forced the door open and entered the residence at which time the defendant offered resistance before being taken into custody.
