5K on new track to support student council projects

RUSSELLVILLE — The second annual Russellville Runners 5K Walk will begin at 10 a.m. March 16 at the Cole County R-I Schools new track.

More than 100 participants supported the event hosted by the Russellville Middle School Student Council.

Proceeds helped purchase a digital announcement system for the elementary/middle school cafeteria.

Registration begins at 9 a.m.
