Chris Janssen, representing Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler's office, visited California on Thursday, March 7, for a "listening post" event to hear the concerns of local residents.
Several people attended the event at the California City Hall to ask questions and present their opinions.
Topics brought up by the visitors included sequestration, U.S. defense, Medicare, the violence against women act, farm subsidies and the use of drones in the U.S.
In answer to a question about Hartzler's next local town hall meeting, Janssen said the congresswoman is holding town hall meetings mostly in areas where she has not met the voters before returning to areas where she has already held them.
