The Twin City Garden Club teames up with Brownie Troop

The Twin City Garden Club, California, teamed up with local Brownie Troop members, above, to celebrate Earth Day at Proctor Park Monday, April 22, by planting flower seeds including marigolds, zinnias, nasturtiums, sunflowers and bean vine. Garden Club members Dorothy Hughes, Nancy Martin and Melinda Burgoon assisted brownies with the planting. The Garden Club was federated in 1957 and it's mission is: To stimulate the interest, love and knowledge of gardening among amateurs, to encourage civic and roadside beautification, and to aid in the protection of our natural resources.
