Moniteau Care Center residents are celebrating National Nursing Home Week with a variety of events. Monday was sports day where they had races at 2 p.m. and a balloon lift at 10 a.m. to get the week started.

Tuesday was child's play day. They played "What did you see?" and made mud pies. Wednesday was a day at the park. The residents spent a few hours enjoying nature at Proctor Park.

Thursday will be Decade Day. Resident will enjoy western favorites and have karaoke. Friday is Vegas Day. The residents will enjoy a clambake in the morning and have a special visit from Elvis at 2 p.m.
