Summer reading program kicks off at Wood Place

Following the reading a the children were involved with a hands on activity where they cut out color pictures of fish, shells and other sealife and added them to a wall mural which brought the coral reef to life. The children participating were going into kindergarten through fourth grade.
The 2013 Summer Reading Club Theme is "Dig Into Reading" and the weekly theme was "Under the Sea".
Next Thursday children will will explore Geology at 6:30 p.m. at the library.
