The California High School Cross Country Banquet was held Thursday at First Baptist Church, California, where athletes, coaches, family and friends gathered to reflect on the 2013 season.
Following the dinner, Head coach Kenny Goans recognized each of the athletes and spoke of their individual achievements and contributions to the season.
Special awards were presented to the following: Simon Schroeter, Pinto Strong Award; Adam Burkett, Boys Top Runner Award; and Leah Korenberg, Girls Top Runner Award.
In closing, gifts were presented to the coaches on behalf of the athletes and parents, and the seniors were also presented gifts.
