High Point defeats Clarksburg 42-27

— The High Point seventh and eighth grade boys basketball team hosted Clarksburg Nov. 7, and won 42 to 27.

Nathan Ahart led scoring with 21 points, while Trey Porter added 10. Logan Harding led rebounds ith 12, while Quinn Randall pulled down 11, and Breckin Blankenship had nine.

High Point competed in the Clarksburg Tournament Nov. 12-16, where the Bluejays finished in second place after losing the championship game Nov. 16 to the Jefferson City Pistons, 61-36.

Trey Porter led scoring with 15 points, followed by Trevor Porter with 10. Harding led rebounds with 12, while Randall had 11.

Previously in the tourney, High Point defeated Clarksburg 46-40 Nov. 12, and defeated Tipton 40-35 Nov. 14.

Trey Porter led the Bluejays against Clarksbug with 16 points, while Trevor Porter had 11, and Ahart scored 10. Trevor Porter led rebounds with nine, while Blankenship and Randall each had five.

Trey Porter led High Point scoring against Tipton with 21 points, followed by Harding with 10. Harding also led rebounds with 14, while Blankenship had six.
