Michael L. Moore, 36, Tipton, has been charged in Moniteau County Circuit Court with Class C Felony Forgery, two counts.
According to Court documents, the defendant is alleged to have written two checks, for $32.52 and $34.99, on a closed account belonging to another. The checks were alleged to have been written between May 20 and 26.
If convicted, the defendant could face up to seven years in prison and a $5,000 fine on each count. Bond has been set at $5,000.
