California Volunteer Firefighter Mark Cram and the department Fire Pup visited Kendra Hall's kindergarten class Friday, Oct. 4. To demonstrate how a firefighter looks when responding to a fire, Cram put on his full fire gear including mask. He also turned on the oxygen tank and demonstrated what a firefighter's voice sounds like.

He spoke to the students about safety in the home and showed the youngsters full firefighter dress so they will not be frightened in case a firefighter has to respond to a home, school or other premises where the children might be.
