St. Louis Irish Arts perform at the Finke

St. Patrick's Day came early to California Saturday night at the Finke Theatre. Whether you have Irish roots or not you would have enjoyed the performance. The St. Louis Irish Arts, a group committed to keeping the traditions of Ireland alive and well, brought their talents to the Finke.

The audience was entertained with music, song, dance and

sharing of stories relating to the history of Ireland. The evening ended with a standing ovation that brought the dancers back to the stage with a stomping performance of tapping feet.

The event was sponsored by Phil and Nancy Lewis and the Missouri Arts Council which provided financial assistance for this project.

Ivory and Gold will be back at the Finke by popular demand for the third time Saturday, Nov. 9. If you missed them in the past you don't want to pass up this chance to hear one of the best groups that have been on the stage in California.

This performance is sponsored by Kelly and Jenice Taggart, Steven and Laura Burger.
