Unlawful use of a firearm charge filed

A felony firearm possession charge has been filed in Moniteau County Court against Daron Timothy Maloney, 41, no address given.

According to court documents, Moniteau County Sheriff's deputies, when responding to a reported domestic dispute, arrived on the scene near Jamestown where an RV was allegedly being used as a residence.

A complainant reported that Maloney was a felon on probation and had firearms in the RV. With permission of a resident of the RV, officers entered the premises, found Maloney in a bed and a .22 rifle in a cabinet.

If convicted on this charge, he could face up to seven years in prison and $5,000 fine. Bond has been set at $15,000.
