Public Water Dist 2 will erect a water tower and drill a well. Bids were opened last week for the new tower construction.
The new tower will be on the far east end of the Mo-Wood property on the north side of Lookout trail (old Highway 50). According to John Kay, work on the system will include expansion of water mains including a connecting loop for two lines that are currently dead end lines. The water lines on Wieneke Branch Road and Route K will join when the work is completed.
