Billy Jo Wyatt, 34, Fulton, has been charged in Moniteau County Circuit Court with Class C Felony Domestic Assault in the second degree.
According to Court documents the charge was filed as a result of an incident alleged to have occurred on or about Oct. 8. The defendant is alleged, during a dispute with an adult, to have attempted to choke a pre-teen child.
If convicted on this charge, the defendant could face up to seven years in prison and $5,000 fine. Bond has been set at $20,000.
