The California Young Farmers chapter was well represented at the 2013 Missouri Young Farmers Tour which took place in Northwest Missouri on July 28-30. The California chapter, with 28 members and family, was the largest group in attendance. The tour was headquartered out of Northwest University, Maryville.
Tour stops included Kawasaki Motor Co., Barmann Sod Farm, Hurst Greenery and Houston Poly Tanks. An alternate tour of Conception Abby in Clyde was attended by some of the group. Great food and cool weather helped make the trip very enjoyable also.
