The Russellville Middle School girls basketball team participated in the Prairie Home Tournament Oct. 14-19, where the Lady Indians ultimately lost the contest for third place to New Franklin, 33-23 Oct. 19.
Chyan Wilkes led Russellville with 11 points. Madelyn Martin followed with six. Taylor Case added four.
Previously at the Prairie Home Tourney, Russellville lost 34-31 to Otterville Oct. 17. Jayla Volkart led Russellville with 11 points, followed by Martin and Lindsey Brandt with seven points each.
The Lady Indians traveled to Iberia Oct. 10, where Russellville lost 22-15. Martin led the Lady Indians with 10 points. Taylor Case and Brooke Kremer each chipped in with two points.
Russellville played at St. Elizabeth Oct. 7, where the Lady Indians captured a 28-10 win. Kremer led Russellville with nine points, followed by Martin with seven. Volkart had four points, while Anna Koestner chipped in with three.
