High Point Homecoming Quilt Show held Saturday

The winning entries in the High Point Homecoming Quilt Show on Saturday, Aug. 31, were: Heritage, made in the 1930s by Mildred Jobe Vernon, now owned by Sharon L. Hess; Embroidered, Elva Clark; Pieced/Patchwork, Kathy Shoemaker; Applique, Judy Smith; and Novelty, a separate quilt entry by Judy Smith which also took the People's Choice award.
