Benefit for Eden Mahoney Sunday, Sept. 29

A benefit pulled pork dinner and auction is being held for Eden Mahoney Sunday, Sept. 29, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Eagles Club, California. A live auction will start at 1 p.m. and there is a 50/50 drawing.

She has a rare stage 4 type of cancer which is very aggressive.

The benefit is to help her travel to and from radiation and physical therapy, a drive to radiation is 30 minutes, and immediately afterwards, an hour to physical therapy, and then 30 minutes home four days a week.

The funds from the benefit will ensure she will have a place to stay, and help take care of her son, Christian.

Mahoney lives on campus in Virginia Beach, where she attends college. Due to extenuating circumstances and health and treatment issues, she is unable to return to Missouri to be with her support group of family and friends.
