The Cargill Cares Food Pantry located in the Moniteau Christian Ministry Center, 303 Latham Road, California, received its first delivery from The Food Bank of Central and Northeast Missouri Thursday, March 27.
Public distribution of food to low income households will begin Thursday, April 3.
The distribution will be the first, second and third Thursdays and Fridays of each month from 3-5 p.m. and the third Saturday from 9-11 a.m.
Social Security cards for each member of household to be served is required as well as proof of residency
This delivery was made via a box truck. According to Barb Mannering, future deliveries will be 24 pallets at a time made via semi-trailer units.
