The case in Moniteau County Court against Travis R. Smith has been continued until Jan. 16, 2015.
According to Court documents, Smith appeared with Attorney Shane Farrow on Wednesday, Nov. 26. The trial which was set to begin Tuesday, Dec. 2, was reset to begin Friday, Jan. 16, 2015.
The California man was arraigned on felony sex charges filed on Sept. 28, 2012, with a second charge filed June 10, 2013. The three charges total seven counts which include a range of felonies from forcible rape to sexual abuse. The charges are for incidents alleged to have occurred in 1998, 1999 and 2005.
