Coming off a 2-21 season, which included a 1-8 record in the Show-Me conference, Russellville and first-year head coach Zane Garr have their sights set on higher pastures.
"I'm looking to have a much better record and be competitive with everybody," said Garr, the Indians' junior varsity head coach last year. "We're going to win some close games, and we might lose some close games. No matter the situation, I want to be really competitive.
"Last year was a struggle. We are going to have a better season and win more than two games. As a whole, everything from enthusiasm to effort has increased."
