Tipton returns most of its roster from last year's squad that finished 21-6 overall and 8-1 in the Kaysinger conference. The Lady Cardinals won their regular season conference championship and tournament championship. Their season ended with a loss to Russellville in the district semifinals.
Culpepper, who took over the Tipton program three years ago, went from 14 wins his first season up to 21. The season prior to his arrival, the Lady Cardinals won just five games.
