Well, I've been at the California Democrat for almost two months now (yes, time does fly when you're having fun!), and it's hard to comprehend all the sporting events I've covered in a short period of time.
Just days after arriving in mid-October, before even learning that a Pinto was a horse, I was covering the California football team in the District 6 opener against Versailles. That game, a huge victory for the Pintos, was my first taste of high school athletics in Mid-Missouri.
