ACT Workshop today at CHS

— California High School is hosting ACT Workshops through April 2014 to help students in grades 10-12 prepare for the ACT Test. The next workshop will be for the English/Reading portion of the ACT Test and will be held 5:45-7:45 p.m. today (Wednesday), Feb. 12, in the CHS Library/Media Room, instructed by CHS teacher Dana Barr.

Following will be the workshop for the Science/Math portion of the ACT Test, which will be held 5:45-7:45 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19, in instructor Amy Kuebler's classroom.

Students interested in attending must have a workbook. Those planning to attend both the English and Science workshops must have two workbooks. Those who have attended previous workshops can use a previously purchased workbook, but must see Barr, Kuebler or Peggy Huhmann to verify attendance.

Upcoming scheduled workshop sessions are as follows:

• English/Reading - 5:45-7:45 p.m. in Library Media Room

• Science/Math - 5:45-7:45 p.m.

Feb. 19 - In Amy Kuebler's classroom

March 5 - In Amy Kueblers classroom

April 2 - In Peggy Huhmann's classroom
