All board members were present for the meeting, along with the Library Director, Assistant Director, Librarian from Price James Library, the Mayor of Tipton and two county residents.

After reviewing and approving the minutes of the January meeting, the board reviewed and approved the February bills. Budget reports were reviewed from the county library and the Price James library. The Director's report was given which consisted of circulation and inventory reports from both libraries, a letter of support from the Elia Wood Pagelow Foundation and reports on the Adult Winter Reading Rewards and the Summer Reading Club programs.

The board was given information by the director from the ALA's Trustee Training webinar on understanding and using the MO Public Library Standards, Trustee Ethics and Liability and Components of Effective Board Meetings.

The board also reviewed the 2015 MOREnet fees, which is the library's internet service provider. The board requested information on other internet providers before making a decision regarding this service.
