Dutch Bakery opens in new building

The Dutch Bakery in Tipton opened on Jan. 1 in the new 15,000 square foot building. The new building is much more open than the old 4,000 square foot premises was, with better lighting, more checkout lanes, wider aisles, an expanded deli area, more displays, an increased amount of refrigerator-freezer space and an increased inventory.

According to the management, the old 4,000 square foot building will be torn down and the parking lot expanded.

Leonard Hoover, owner, was on hand for to greet the customers on the big opening day. Manager is David Hoover.
