The California High School Math Team competed in the Camdenton Math Contest Saturday, Jan. 18. Members earning individual medals included Sarah Bryant, Morgan Carpenter, Alex Davis, Zeke Holliday, Madelyn Jobe, Abby Luekenotte, Jerod McKee and John Wolken. In addition, Sidney Draffen and Jenna Reynolds earned individual ribbons.
In class test competition, both the sophomore and seniors teams finished in first place. Five team members earned top individual honors. Zeke Holliday was named the third place top freshman, Morgan Carpenter was named second place top sophomore and Madelyn Jobe was third place top junior. Two seniors earned top honors, Abby Luekenotte earned first place and Alex Davis second. California won first place in Division II at the contest.
