Seven amateur vintners participated in the annual Vine to Wine 2014 – Sharing the Fruits of Our Labors event held Jan. 25 at Annunciation Church hall, California. With the help of Custom Occasions LLC and several church parishioners, the church hall was transformed into Little Italy with glimmering lights, canvas paintings, quaint linens, wine kegs, and the wonderful aroma of Italian pasta. Along with the meal and free wine tastings, the evening festivities included a silent auction and raffle, which was won by David Garnett, California. The net proceeds of the event support the Annunciation Church Ladies Sodality and Knights of Columbus, as well as the Vitae Society for the support of life for the unborn.
