An Eldon man died from injuries he received Friday night when the motorcycle he was driving ran off a Miller County road.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported Charles M. Holder, 46, died in the 10:35 p.m. crash on Route W less than a half mile north of Greer Road.
The patrol reported that Holder's motorcycle passed several vehicles prior to reaching a curve where it traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a ditch, utility pole, curb, fence post and gate.
The patrol indicated that Holder, who had been wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead by the Miller County Coroner at 11:55 p.m. The body was taken to Phillips Funeral Home in Eldon.
