North Central Missouri College to hold commencement ceremonies May 10

Approximately 450 students will receive degrees and certificates at North Central Missouri College Commencement ceremonies which are set for 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. in the Ketcham Community Center on the campus in Trenton on Saturday, May 10. NCMC’s Student Senate President Loren Fox will give the Evocation and Dr. Neil Nuttall, College President, and Dr. James Gardner, Vice President of Instruction and Student Services, will confer the degrees. Christopher Hoffman, President of the NCMC Board of Trustees and alumnus of North Central Missouri College, will welcome the graduates as new alumni.
Dr. David R. Russell, Missouri Commissioner of Higher Education, will provide the Commencement Address at the morning ceremony and Don Sipes, Vice President of Regional Services for Saint Luke’s Health System/Chief Executive Officer for Saint Luke’s North Hospital-Smithville, will give the afternoon address. The morning ceremony will include all candidates for degrees and certificates in non-allied-health areas, including those for Associate in Arts, Associate in General Studies, Associate in Arts in Teaching, and various other two-year degrees and one-year certificate programs. The afternoon ceremony will focus on allied health including all candidates for degrees or certificates in nursing, health care management, medical assistant, EMT/paramedic, radiology technology, surgical technology, dental hygienist, health information management, pharmacy technology, physical therapy assistant, medical laboratory technology, occupational therapy assistant, medical insurance and billing, and pharmacy technician.
Graduating from the area is Kelsey Marie Hight, California, Associate in Arts in Teaching.
