Jamestown's Barbour and Strother advance to state track championships

Six members of the Jamestown varsity track team competed at the Class 1 Sectionals track meet Saturday at Central Methodist University, Fayette, where two finished in the top four of their event to advance to the Class 1 State Track Championships Saturday, May 24, at Dwight T. Reed Stadium, Jefferson City.

Junior Trevor Barbour placed third in the High Jump with 5'8", and fourth in the Triple Jump with 39'7", and sophomore Mickayla Strother placed third in the 100 Meter Hurdles with 17.32.
