Genealogy Library grand opening Saturday

The Moniteau County Historical Society Genealogy Library committee is pleased to announce the new addition is finished and open to the public.

A grand opening will be held Saturday, May 31, at 1 p.m. A ribbon cutting will begin the festivities followed by a short program. The complete library facility as well as the Historical Society Museum will be open until 5 p.m. Light refreshments will be served in the meeting room.

The regular hours of operation at the library are 1-5 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturdays, April through October. Beginning June 12, the library will have extended hours Thursday evenings. The library will remain open until 8:30 p.m. This will be every Thursday continuing through the month of August.
