The General Federated Women's Club met Tuesday, Nov. 4, at the Finke Theatre. Patty Wells, president, opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance. Thirteen members answered roll call. Ramona Hader gave the Thought For The Day on what we are thankful for.
Gail Hughes presented a program on the Finke Theatre from the beginning in 1884 to the present and conducted a tour of the theatre.
Wells reported on the success of the birthday party at California Care Center and a donation was taken to be presented to Girls Town.
The club was saddened by the death of Shirley Ball who was a charter member.
The next meeting will be Dec. 2 at Burgher Haus.
