Moniteau County 911 Board elects officers

The Moniteau County 911 Emergency Dispatch Center Board of Directors appointed members and elected officers at the regular meeting on Nov. 13, held at the 911 center.

Members appointed were Scott Harkins, member at large; Rachel Irey, District 1, and Mike Volkart, District 2.

Board officers elected were: President Scott Harkins, Vice president Randy Clifford, Treasurer Shirley Hayes, and Corey Sullivan Secretary.

At the meeting, the board approved the minutes of the Oct. 21 meeting.

In regular business, the board approved paying 100 percent of the full-time employee health insurance and approved United Health Care for the 2015 health insurance carrier.

Administrator Corey Sullivan reported to the board that the generator maintenance was completed, and a battery replaced. The 911 truck has been service and winterized.

According to the treasurer's report, sales tax received was $61,862.51. The MMDA account balance as of Nov. 11 was $554,739.80. The CD balance was about $102,700 as of Oct. 31. The total payroll was: Oct. 22 - $9,614.51; Nov. 6 - $9,557.34. Overall payroll taxes were $7,425.53. Total accounts payable approved at the meeting amounted to $23,299.40.

The next monthly meeting is 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 11, at the 911 Center.
