The California High School JV football team traveled to Blair Oaks Monday night, where the Pintos, after leading 7-0 at the half, defeated the Falcons 13-6.
Scoring for California included the following: Dylan Kramel scored a touchdown on a 1-yard run and Jose Magana kicked the extra point. Dylan Ratcliff scored a 65-yard touchdown but the extra point was blocked. Brent Albers forced two fumbles and recovered one fumble. Gunner Baquet had an interception. Logan Cox also had an interception. It was a very hard hitting game by both teams.
The freshman Pintos will play at School of the Osage at 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 13.
