California third graders honor grandparents

A large of number of friends and relatives visited the California Elementary School Friday, Sept. 5, for the Third Grade Grandparents Day.

The young people and their visitors gathered in the elementary cafeteria to have a cinnamon rolls for breakfast, with choice of white, chocolate or skim milk, while they sat, talked and completed activity sheets.

After the snack and activities, the group divided and went into the classrooms of the students where many of the grandparents did a "show and tell" for the other students and families.
